Monterey Peninsula
As an adult and experienced photographer, I have learned to prune down the photos I show to people. My rule of thumb today is: if you are showing more than a third of what you took, you aren't being critical enough. I'm sure that I was less strict before digital photography -- maybe a half to two thirds. But apparently, even as a novice, I was learning to select the best if there were multiple pictures with the same story. I only found one of the two pictures the diary says I took of the coastline.
