Cartoonist ![]() I was always pretty good at drawing, and loved to do it. When I found that Mr Levine, the father of my new friend Larry, was a professional cartoonist, I was hooked. He was actually the illustrator for comic books that I knew. Mr Levine picked up on my interest and taught me some cartooning tricks -- how to draw characters quickly. Before we left Florida, I had used those tricks to create some comic-book characters of my own. I was drawing my own comic strips.
