The House

Reynolds Plantation - November 2010

It may seem a little strange, but Warren's house was a major factor in our enjoyment of the week. He has a big, comfortable, wonderful house right on the shore of Lake Oconee. (His boats are currently back in New Jersey, but he has a dock for them in his back yard.) Here's a tour...

The land slopes away in back,

...Which leaves room for a downstairs floor that is as yet unfinished.

All in all, a very impressive
rear facade.

The interior is a large open plan, with "islands" separating eat-in kitchen from a bright, airy den (far) and a living room (near right).
